Every quarter, Emma Berg, HAUS Curator and Director of mplsart.com installs a new exhibit at the salon.  Each exhibit will be celebrated with an opening reception in which the artist will be in attendance to speak with guests about their work.  Paired with the opening will be the release of the online brochure created for the exhibit and designed for optimal viewing on the iPad.  This brochure will provide clients and viewers of the work an in-depth and personal introduction to the art and the artist.

We hope that you are as taken aback by the work as we are.

Charlie, Jessica & Emma

HOTTEA has been yarn bombing the streets of Minneapolis for the past few years.  In that short time his pieces have received positive attention from both residents and the media. It is with great pleasure that we open up Haus Salon for his artistic interpretation of the space, providing an environment in which the work can live beyond the limited hours that the work on the street often has.

With this recent installation at the salon, HOTTEA has transformed the space in a way that

involves the audience and clients so that they are fully encompassed by the work.   By utilizing the high ceilings and pulling influence from the custom chandeliers by Jonathan Gomez-Whitney, the work seamlessly feels at home and confident in the elegantly designed space.

HOTTEA received his BFA in graphic design from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design in 2007.  HOTTEA has received coverage locally and internationally.  He
