On the 30th anniversary of Amphetamine Reptile Records founding comes yet another one of their nationally-recognized blow out summer events. This July 10 and 11, BASH 15 will host the highly-anticipated one-time reunion of the COWS; back-to-back with The Melvins and Run Westy Run, both of whom can easily pack out a venue on their own.  Top it off with a lineup that includes Mexico’s Les ButcherettesHepa-TitusHammerhead and Gay Witch Abortion, this one will be going down in indie history.

These randomly scheduled all-star mini-festivals have become legendary to say the least.  Events, art and music crammed into two action-packed days geared towards rock/music/noise fans of all stripes.  Appropriately held in a parking lot, with a low brow presentation befitting the movement that spawned it.

The most hotly anticipated part this time around is the one-off reunion of the legendary COWS.  Not having played anywhere since ’98, this alone has people trekking from across the country to attend. As far as we know, this is a ONE TIME show with ZERO plans for further shows or touring.  In their prime, these guys could pack out 1st Avenue, but their impact has always been felt strongest outside the Twin Cites where their touring from small clubs to Lollapalooza and 5 herlalded AmRep LP’s gained them an underground presence that’s impacted many a circle.

(The) Melvins are the rare band that’s managed to play uninterrupted for 30+ years to an increasing audience and impact. Minneapolis post-Replacements/ Husker Du stalwarts Run Westy Run make an appearance, as well as former Halo Of Flies headman HAZE XXL on stage with Gay Witch Abortion.  If reputation serves correctly, Les Butchettes from Mexico may steal the show.

Friday kicks off with a screening of the AmRep documentary “The Color Of Noise” by Eric Robel in Grumpy’s City Club, a second chance after its MPLS debut to rave reviews in a sold out Riverview Theater. Saturday, the City Club transforms into a gallery (as was done in that very room for Shepard Fairy’s first MPLS showing in ‘98) with new work by HAZE XXL and Math.i. It’s been a few years for either artist showing in the Twin Cities, as they were off having gallery shows in NYC/LA/Nashville etc.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an AmRep BASH without their trademark hyper small “art record” releases. This alone has folks flying in from around the country, as these hard to get releases turn up later as insane collectibles. Records from Cows, Melvins, Les Butcherettes, Gay Witch Abortion and Hepa-Titus will all be released at the event!!

Tickets are on sale now at (insert link). Judging from pervious history, combined with the rabid fan base of the COWS chomping at the bit, they won’t last long.
