The Summer Shindig

In addition to their monthly First Thursday open studios, Casket Arts will move the party outside to the 17th Avenue parking lot where you can enjoy local art, live music, food from Gastrotruck, frozen treats from MN Nice Cream, and art activities for kids of all ages! You'll also get to meet a few canine representatives of the Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue and learn more about adopting one of these gentle giants.

Inside, they'll have open studios and special events including (but not limited to) a 3rd floor lobby t-shirt printing party with food and a DJ and, on the first floor, The Art of Shape-Shifting, a collaborative event melding visual art and aural experience in studio 114. Stick around til the end to watch an outdoor screening of the documentary Bikes Vs. Cars from Casket Cinema.
