Tree Vision: Work by Artists Pat & Gage Kruse and Jim Proctor

Track 29 presents group show of Bockley Artists

Track 29’s fourth exhibition of exemplary visual art features nature-based constructions by three artists who look to the plant world for inspiration, guidance and material media.

Pat and Gage Kruse are skilled birch-barkers who honor and carry forward the pictorial traditions of Ojibwe culture and birch crafting to create powerful, highly patterned birch bark “picturescapes”; while Jim Proctor is an environmentalist who collects, re-arranges and assembles plant material such as seeds, stems and thorns into meticulous “hybridized” constructions that he sets behind glass or floats free in space.

Tree Vision presents a select assortment of new and recent works by these three—inspiring a shift in botanical consciousness for all who witness.

Tree Vision is curated by Jan Elftmann and Cynde Randall and presented through Track 29’s initiative which incorporates fine art exhibitions into its creative living context.
