36th ART Mural Celebration

Join 36th ART, Sprayfinger, and HCHS students for the reception of a new Greenway mural

Celebrate the unveiling of "River Memory" a new mural on the bridge under the Greenway at 36th that joins Seward and Longfellow neighborhoods. 

Join 36th ART, SPRAYFiNGER® and Hiawatha Collegiate High School (HCHS) for a celebration of the new Greenway bridge mural, “River Memory.” Activities will include the mural dedication and community celebration with music, snacks and beverages. Interactive activities for youngsters to include drawing in the makers’ space on campus and a Spray & Take workshop outside (weather permitting) while HCHS students will offer multilingual tours of the mural. Bring family and friends! All are welcome.

ABOUT 36th ART
36th A.R.T. is a community-lead, arts-based initiative to revitalize and transform 36th Avenue between 25th Street and Lake Street.  36th A.R.T. is led by a working group of residents who live on or near 36th Avenue.  The working group raised funds for a temporary art installation at Elsa’s House of Sleep on the northwest corner of 36th Avenue and Lake Street.
