About the Cause
Mason Riddle, chronicler of art and artists for over 40 years, fell victim to serious and unrecoverable fraud last year draining her retirement savings and investments. As a lifelong supporter of the arts and as an arts writer, her work has been critical to the success of many regional artists and the arts community. Numerous friends and artists have come together to help and support her. Over 75 artists and 4 Minneapolis galleries have contributed art to be sold for Mason's benefit. Each of the over 100 works are priced at $300.00. All proceeds from the benefit will go to Mason.
The Go Fund Me page has been set up to receive payments for the artwork and any additional donations. Payments can also be made at the event with cash or personal checks made out to Mason Riddle. The page is being managed by Clare Sorman, the daughter of artist Steven Sorman and a lifelong family friend of Mason.
