American Craft Council hosts their annual holiday market featuring curated craft offerings that range from ceramics, jewelry, fashion, and home goods to apothecary, candles, and letterpress cards
On Saturday, December 7th, American Craft Council presents a free annual holiday market—Craft Bash, featuring more than 70 Minnesota makers.
To help curate an interesting and broad selection of craft, ACC tapped Tricia Heuring of Public Functionary and Leslie Barlow of Studio 400 to invite makers to participate in this lively, annual event.
Craft offerings will range from ceramics, jewelry, fashion, and home goods to apothecary, candles, and letterpress cards. Guests will also be able to sample artisanal food and beverages, encounter live glassblowing demonstrations, and partake in a number of artist-designed participatory projects and hands-on experiences – all in Hennepin Made’s innovative studio space.
The Craft Bash preview party, Decked Out, offers a chance for first dibs on the artists’ work in a festive, party atmosphere. Evening activities include live painting with Ashley Mary, a book sale of niche titles curated by the ACC Library, a fashion pop-up with Winsome Goods, astrological readings with Lacey Prpic Hedtke (The Future), tarot readings with Big Mouth Tarot, and more. Food and beverages will be available from Parallel and Taco Cat with music deejayed by Sarah White. Tickets to Decked Out are $25 for the public and $20 for ACC members. They include a complimentary drink ticket and a chance to win giveaways throughout the evening.
