Critical Conversation #3: The Healing Power of Laughter

Critical Conversation #3: The Healing Power of Laughter

Join Public Art Saint Paul for a comedy show and discussion at the Minneapolis American Indian Center.

Laughter is a transformative practice that connects people; as the saying goes, laughter is medicine. Humor and laughter are tools that help relieve stress, strengthen bonds, and lift our spirits. The experiences in our current environment underline the need for joy, humor, and laughter.

Our third critical conversation hosts two hilarious guests: Emcee and Comedian Deanna Rae StandingCloud (Getebiikwe) and Anishinaabe Comedic Raconteur Trish Cook, who will perform then share a discussion moderated by Wakpa Curator Angela Two Stars. Join us on Wednesday, April 30th, 6-8 PM, at the Minneapolis American Indian Center, to share laughter and stories together. Light dinner and refreshments to be served.

Please note: The comedians and discussion will be filmed and photographed.
