Echoes of Life: Paintings from the Collection

The Cafesjian Art Trust Museum (The CAT) is inviting visitors to find connection and meaning in their newest exhibition of 27 artworks curated from the Museum’s permanent collection.

Echoes of Life: Paintings from the Collection showcases a selection of diverse moments that make up the human experience. The show will open January 24, 2025 and will run until September 6. For the first time in the CAT's history, visitors will be able to come to the Museum without needing a reservation, every Saturday from 10:00 a.m.– 4:30 p.m., throughout the run of the exhibition.

The artwork in Echoes of Life focuses on universal elements of our shared humanity—a strong sense of place, a specific moment in time, a particularly relatable character. These painted “echoes of life” may feel intimately familiar or may introduce an entirely new way to see the world. All have the potential to spark reflection and contemplation about visitors' own lived experiences.

The CAT will celebrate Echoes of Life with an opening reception on Friday, January 24. Drop-in Saturdays begin January 25. Reservations for weekday tours beginning Thursday, January 30 and tickets for the reception will be available starting January 3.
