Explore the colorful world of fiber arts with interactive activities led by the Zumbro River Fiber Arts Guild, enjoy live music by Jake McBroom and Down Home & Friends, and connect art with imagination during Storytime in the galleries. Don’t miss the Ageless Art Open House from 12–2 PM, showcasing incredible artwork by Rochester Public Schools students K–12. This free event is perfect for all ages—come create, celebrate, and be inspired!

Ageless Art celebrates the creativity and talent of Rochester Public Schools students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This vibrant exhibition features a wide range of artistic media, including painting, digital art, clay, and photography. Join us for a special open house event honoring these young artists—students, families, and teachers are all invited to take part in the celebration! 1:00 PM | Meet a Fiber Artist
Explore the museum galleries and ask a member of Zumbro River Fiber Arts Guild to tell you about their unique fiber work. Artists will be stationed near their artwork from 1 PM - 1:45 PM.
2:00 PM | Storytime at the Art Center
Join us for a story reading that connects children’s literature to works of art in the galleries.
2:30 PM - 3:30 PM | Live Music by Down Home & Friends
Enjoy an encore performance of bluegrass and gospel favorites played by a talented group of musician friends from the Zumbrota, Kenyon and Cannon Falls area.

Accessibility: Rochester Art Center strives to be welcoming and accessible for all people. Guests are encouraged to arrive fragrance free. All spaces are wheelchair and stroller accessible. The building has an elevator and three flights of stairs. Personal care assistants are invited to view the galleries with their companion free of charge. Service animals are welcomed. There are two all gender restrooms located on the second floor. Diverse seating options are available in the galleries and during programs. A designated quiet space will be available on the 3rd floor.
