ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Andy Jacobs is a multidisciplinary artist who works with the mediums of fibers/textiles, performance, drawing, and installation. Their work contemplates biodegradability, ephemerality, interconnection, and cyclicality. Drawing inspiration from ecology, ritual, compost, and plant life, her work is grappling with how to cope with climate change in the current anthropocene.
Born and based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, she has lived on both coasts, earning her BFA in Fine Arts from Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon, and her MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts at Maine College of Art and Design, in Portland, Maine.
Meagan Marsh Pine is a cross-disciplinary artist whose work utilizes digital and traditional media to investigate the contemporary landscape. They have been included in a number of national publications, most notably Witness which is housed in the Museum of Modern Art’s Library, as well as other collections. They received their BA in Art and BA in Journalism from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. They are currently an MFA candidate at Washington State University, Pullman.
