Silverwood Park presents Hinterland, a wild and unexplored place.
The work in this exhibition is an expression of memory, loss, and longing prompted by a fall into unfamiliar emotional surroundings. These clay vessels and sculptures were made as a reflection of walks in the boreal forest with Chalmers’ father. Hinterland invites viewers to explore their connection to place and memories and emotions they might encounter there.
The gallery is open daily to the public from 9 am - 5 pm.
