Horrified III: The Possession

Horrified III: The Possession

Dive into the chilling world of Horrified III: The Possession, an evocative fiber arts exhibit presented by The Snips. This curated collection of textile and fiber art confronts the haunting narrative of possession, both metaphorically and literally.

As our society grapples with the erosion of freedoms for queer, disabled, and marginalized communities, this exhibit reflects on the visceral struggle against forces that seek to control and suppress. Drawing inspiration from the iconic horror trope of exorcism—most famously depicted in 1973's The Exorcist—the artwork explores the demonic and oppressive forces that intrude upon our physical selves and personal freedoms.

Join us in confronting the dark and compelling intersections of control, freedom, and self-expression. Witness how textile and fiber art become powerful tools for resistance and reflection in this exhibit.
