Praxis Gallery presents Letters. Numbers & Symbols.
Letters, Numbers & Symbols juried by Dallas Crow
In its original gallery, Praxis presents photographic art that includes letters, numbers, words, and/or symbols as a fundamental aspect of the composition – something written, scrawled, printed, posted, engraved, erased, illegible: alphabets, slogans, documents, billboards, regrets, palimpsests, typos, abbreviations, hieroglyphs, runes, legends, fragments, fractions, chicken scratch, charts and graphs, ampersands, lines in the sand.
Opening Reception:
The opening night reception is free and open to the public. Guests are invited to mingle with artists and fellow photography enthusiasts while exploring three galleries of contemporary photographic art and enjoying complimentary refreshments. “Letters, Numbers & Symbols” juried by Dallas Crow opens in the original Praxis Gallery, while “Nude Geographies” opens in the Directors’ gallery. Yankee Enduro, a solo exhibition by G.S. Broz, continues its run in the Lab Gallery. All three exhibits will be on view through Saturday, November 4.
Presented alongside Nude Geographies and Yankee Enduro | G. S. Broz.
