Kenwood Burroughs Gallery presents an exhibition of black and white photography documenting the stark realities of homelessness in the Twin Cities.
We often turn away when we see homelessness. The train of thought, consciously or subconsciously, goes ‘Out of sight, Out of mind’. And when homelessness is out of mind, we rarely feel compelled to take action to end it.
The photographs in this series confront viewers with the stark realities of homelessness. The title, No More Turning Away, challenges viewers to face these stark realities. And to take action to end homelessness.
