Due to the dramatic impact of COVID-19 and UNW classes and events no longer taking place on campus, the Department of Art &amp; Design in conjunction with this year’s Animation &amp; Illustration seniors decided to move the 2020 Animation &amp; Illustration Showcase online. This year’s seniors put a tremendous amount of effort and energy into their pieces and we wish to continue to support, encourage, and celebrate their work, especially at a time like now. 

The online exhibition features the group's animated showreel as well as highlights from each student’s portfolio. This year’s featured artists include Paige Burgett, Maddie Dewing, Austen Huft, Alana Jenkins, Tyler Kinney, Anna Klus, Rebekah Kroeplin, and Sara Staudt.

The Denler Gallery serves as the University of Northwestern's principal art gallery. The space rotates an average of six exhibitions per year, including shows by local and national artists, an annual juried student exhibition, and work by Art & Design seniors from each discipline.

The gallery is generally closed when class is not in session. This includes summer and semester breaks.
