Ordinary Magic | Naomi Hart

Minnesota based Encaustic artist, Naomi Hart, grew up in remote Northern MN where the natural world became her education and her refuge. As a full time professional artist, she exhibits throughout the nation in galleries and art festivals. Noami's work tells the story of her run to the vast therapeutic resources found in the natural world in order to manage  self-mental health.  She uses familiar symbolism from nature to depict a journey of transformation, and to draw from the ancient tradition of searching for identity, guidance and truths within the ordinary magic found within the natural world. Storytelling is woven into the fabric of both recovery and trauma healing cultures. Each piece I creates a sense of time within a flow that exists outside of time's constructs, offering a new perspective and a glimpse of possibilities.
