PLEONEXIA

PLEONEXIA

An exhibition featuring new work by Tony Angelino, Lizardman, CL Martin, Matt McGorry

Pleonexia  ple·o·nex·i·a
 \plē-ə-ˈnek-sēə\  noun

~an insatiable desire for wealth or gain; covetousness, greed, or avarice.

This gathering of four artists is the first step in an experimentation of the concept and installation of PLEONEXIA.

The curator of PLEONEXIA is searching for galleries, institutions and artists to create a continuously evolving visual experience that will become a creative testament to the times we live in.

The ongoing evolution of this installation yearns for art created from the perspective of oppressed bodies, hearts, and minds; those willing to expose their greatest vulnerabilities and profound discontent in a meaningful reflection of the world we live in.

Do you create fine art about inequality, reproductive rights, discrimination, needless violence, injustice, environmental crisis, or any of the countless restrictive and tumultuous forces that shape our daily lives? The mindsets, ideology and actions of the few dictate and suppress the daily lives and experiences of the masses.
Pleonexia runs rampant.

It is time to use your talents as a voice.
It is time to come together.
It is a time for art.

Are you an artist who can empower yourself to create fine art on such powerful subject manner?
Does the strife inspire you?

Reach out with your thoughts, questions, and concerns.
