An exhibition on resilience seen through the adaptation and persistence of plants.
This project explores resilience through the lens of plants, specifically how the unique qualities and characteristics of various plants around the world demonstrate myriad ways of surviving, adapting, and thriving in their specific surroundings. The plant narrative offers a look at how nature has responded in all sorts of creative ways to the challenges and changes it is constantly presented with.

About the Project
For this project, each artist was given a plant brief selected and researched by Leon van Eck Assistant Professor in the Biology Department, and the curator of the greenhouse plant collection at Augsburg University. In the brief was included: a photo, description, history and narrative of a specific plant, and a word that describes why it was selected.
