Spruce presents Rhythm & Hues, which reunites Melinda Wolff and Suzanne Tacheny Kubach.
Their works on wood create an uncanny synchronicity in color and design. Both artists draw heavily on nature's rhythms for inspiration, designing art that celebrates the complexity and spontaneity of the natural world.
Kubach’s acrylic paintings honor the energy of nature through dynamic, gestural abstract compositions with an uncommon sense of depth, texture, and movement. Similarly, her abstracted landscapes combine bold colors and gestural design to create a compelling sense of place.
Wolff’s oil paintings celebrate the unique texture of wood by integrating its elements—such as live edges, bark, wormholes, and grain—into her designs. Her expressive brushwork and masterful command of color highlight the inherent beauty of the wood.
Come join the opening of their latest show at spruce, we’ll raise a glass to our collectors and friends accompanied by a symphony of Rhythm & Hues!
