North Hennepin Community College (NHCC) is proud to showcase and celebrate outstanding artwork created by students taking studio arts courses and graphic design students produced during the academic year at the Student Art Show.
Judging & Awards:
Current students taking art classes can submit up to four entries of artwork created while enrolled at NHCC. Faculty will serve as judges, reviewing an artwork’s merit based on authenticity, skill, and the artist’s ability to make a meaningful message. First, second and honorable mention will be awarded in Digital Art, Digital Photography, 2-D and 3-D Design, Ceramics, Drawing, Graphic Design (Packaging, Branding, Web Design, Posters, Illustration, Typography), Web Design, Black and White Photography, Painting, Mixed Media, Video, and more.
Reception & Awards Ceremony:
A reception and awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 17, 12-1 p.m. in the Joseph Gazzuolo Fine Arts Gallery (FAC 135). Event is free and includes refreshments and cookies.
Gallery Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Saturday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
