Monday September 30, 2024 5:30-7:30p At the intersection of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue in South Minneapolis the site of George Floyd's death and has become a gathering place for people to honor and remember him. 

Brass Solidarity will be performing.

The 3 new Social Justice billboards for SEPT-DEC 2024 are: “Resurrection of Voices” by Gustavo Lira Garcia, “Siren” by Christopher E. Harrison & “Fire!! / LIBERATE” by Flahn Manly. These new billboards, as well as the last three billboards, are all pictured below. Well done Gustavo Lira Garcia & Christopher E. Harrison & Flahn Manly.

Every  Monday Brass Solidarity play at 5:30 pm at George Floyd Square as an offering to the community. Brass Solidarity is a convergence of musicians, activists, and community members using our sound as a voice for justice and an advocate for Black Lives.

The Social Justice Billboard Project elevates BIPOC voices and artwork in our community in Minneapolis, MN using the three billboards facing the intersection of East 38th Street and Chicago Avenue South, the site of George Floyd’s murder and memorial.
