La.dy.like Experimental Art Project presents a defiant celebration of the complexities of femininity
La.dy.like Experimental Art Project is thrilled to present "Unapologetically Femme," an innovative art exhibition that delves into the multifaceted nature of femininity and its intersection with various identities and experiences. Taking place from April 28th to May 28th, 2023, the exhibition highlights the extraordinary talents of local Twin Cities-based female, femme, and queer-identifying artists. Guest Curator Bo Young An has expertly assembled an engaging group of multidisciplinary creatives, featuring the works of Katayoun Amajadi, Andrea Bagdon, Hannah Chatham, Paola Evangelista, Spencer Legendre-Gillespie, Lora Hlavsa, Alonzo Pantoja, Anika Schneider, Kelsi Sharp, and Sarah Maricha White.
"Unapologetically Femme" offers an immersive experience, inviting viewers to delve into the dynamic landscape of femininity through an array of artistic mediums. By contesting the idea that femininity is a fixed, innate attribute, the artists in this exhibition provoke a more profound exploration and appreciation of the intricate nuances, as experienced on both intimate and cultural dimensions.
